Fixtures report:
First of all
I would like to thank everyone for their effort in running the club this season. The
Junior Section have had a good season with the U14 attracting new players and
putting a big effort into their matches, their coaches have also put a big effort
into their training and coaching, three of the 14s played for Salford and three
Played for Rochdale service area. The U12s have had an exceptional year this
season hopefully their efforts will earn them a place in the premier division,
some of the U12s have also played for Rochdale service area, Steve Veevers has
also put a big effort into his coaching this season with help from new assistant
Micky. The U 10s have played well and attracted a few new players hopefully
this will continue into the new season, David Widdup has put a lot of effort into
recruiting in schools hopefully this will help both the 10s and 8s next season
. The U 8s have struggled along with 5 or 6 players all season they have still
held their own in their matches witch is a credit to them and their coach Ivan
Coupe, we think over the summer we have recruited new players and Ivan May have
a full team this season. So over all I think the club has don well this season
we were presented with Club Mark and we have helped form Littleborough Sports
association this can only help raise the standards of the sports facilities at
Littleborough Community Campus, witch in turn helps the running if the club. We
also have a well established web sit hopefully this keeps the club well informed
about all activities and may help recruit players so thanks to media manager Robert
Rigby. Lastly I would like to thank the children and their parents for their
efforts this season turning up to matches and all their help in running the club.
Yours Sincerely Carole Lockett Treasurers
report Much the same as last
season we have spent a bit more on merchandise so have a bit less in the bank
also we have bought our grand final tickets a bit earlier so that money is out
of the account, Over all no changes. I have been happy to help over the past
few years but I am happy to say someone else has offered to take the position
of treasurer. 3. Membership
